Harlan Tarbell devised in 1926 a correspondence course for magicians, it consists of 60 lessons, which were sent one every 10 days. Those who followed the whole course and obtained a diploma. Over the years this work has become the reference point for hundreds of thousands of magicians around the world.
 
In this book the original lessons are collected, presented with an accurate translation in Italian and with vivid designs that distinguished her. The author was in fact also an illustrator. The work was originally to be built by Harry Houdini, but for lack of time, he suggested the publisher for his magical ability, Harlan Tarbell.
