ABOUT PIXEL STYLE
In digital imaging, a pixel, pel, or picture element is a physical point in a raster image, or the smallest addressable element in an all points addressable display device; so it is the smallest controllable element of a picture represented on the screen.
Early electronic devices were limited by resolution, and each pixel was sharply defined. In the mobile Internet era, with the continuous improvement of screen resolution and smoother lines, the "pixel" has gradually become a synonym for retro.
But the pixels did not fade out of people's sight. On the contrary, they became more and more popular. Lego building blocks, mosaic tiles, magic cube paintings and hand-made pin beans are all extensions and applications of the pixel style.
Family Computer
The popularity of the pixel style cannot be separated from the development of the pixel game platform. In the early days of video games, the ARCADE was the world of arcade games. But in 1986, it was terminated by the Family Computer (FC). When it was sold internationally, the new name was Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Its appearance had a profound impact on the video game industry.
Whether it is ARCADE, FC, or the later handheld game console, GameBoy, their emergence has made all kinds of pixel games popular in the streets and lanes. Numerous classic games such as Mario have become the common childhood memory of many game enthusiasts.
We have spent three years in the process of combining playing cards and FC. We now present the Bicycle® PIXEL Playing cards Collector Set.
Introduction of Collector Set
What a crazy idea and good looking, too! Definitely a collection that you have never seen. Bicycle® PIXEL Playing Cards Collector Set's design is strongly inspired by the Family Computer.
Lined with comfortable velvet and sponge, there are two empty slots for a pair of red and blue PIXEL Playing Cards.
Both the game console and the gamepad are cleverly restored. Did I mention that there is a special edition deck hidden in the gamepad?
That would be a very interesting and meaningful Playing Cards Collector Set.
